Senior Year

It's senior year and it's going off to a great start..well minus the fact that I got into a car accident yesterday. It was right after school and I was on Maryland Parkway and a little after Vegas Valley. I was going straight and I was in the farthest left lane and this lady was in a parking lot and she was trying to get into the center lane so that she could go to the opposite side of the street. She ended up crashing into the front corner of my car and pretty much ruined the whole front of my car. She got the ticket and I was not at fault. Charles and his mom came to help me out =]. I called my insurance, my papa, and everything is okay now. My car might be in the shop for about 3 weeks to a month. We have a rental car.. which is awesome.. a mazda 6! Which by the way I have always wanted. My parents won't let me drive it because they don't trust me? :/ So my brother and I are switching cars.. I really don't mind since his car is a nice one too. On a happier note: School is great. I mean it's picking up.. but I love it. I should be doing my history homework but I felt like I needed to blog about the car accident instead. Dance is great, the jazz routine is to Pussycat Dollz- When I Grow Up and the hip hop routine is to Nelly Furtado- Man Eater. We're performing it at the pep rally next Friday and also at the half-time show on our first football game. Charles and I are great as always, his last day is Sept. 16 =[. Let's see here... I think I'll blog once I have no hw or something! Until then =)

Update

             I finally have the time to update about what's been happening. I cannot believe junior year is already over. I really never thought that senior year would approach so quickly! Track season was great, I improved so much and I actually beat my fastest time from last year with a 2:47 for the season! The 4x800 relay team went to Regionals and we actually placed 6th out of 11. After the season, things started getting busy. The spring dance concert showcase ran smoothly and after that was dance tryouts. The tryouts were less nervewracking since I actually had some skills unlike last year! So.. end result? I made dance team! Let's see... idk if I wrote aboute IB Exams.. but I think I was well prepared for the Psychology exam, I only made up tons of bull shit on one question. I have to admit that Spanish was quite difficult =/. So.. 2/6 IB Exams are done. Mm.. let's see... I ran for Vice President for IB Council and got the position too =]. I think I'm set for senior year... Let's see.. finals were okay.
I ended up getting a B for Alg. II/Trig, and I've already accepted that. If I tried my best, maybe a B is what I'm destined for. It's not the end of the world... right? Mr. Delgado helped me with my 89.2! Hahah, he bumped it for me because he loves me =]]]. Or maybe it's just my crying, hah. asdlkjsldfj after that my girls and I hung out and watched Sex and the City and went to Sammy's and Dessert Avenue. 
               Summer, so far, is absolutely amazing! I'm having the time of my life. I think I'm pretty prepared. Of course, like every summer... I did my summer cleaning. I just need to buy a filing cabinet for all my college prep. stuff. I'm definitely ready for colllllllege, scholarships, applications, and essays! I got the files all ready to be organized. My goals for summer is to get college scholarships done, or atleast some of the early ones! Study for SATS seriously, get all my vocabulary done and everything (I already boought all the boooks and I'm gonna review my notes), and research and finish Extended Essay. I think I'm on a pretty good start. Oh and mid week of July, my dad and I are gonna fly to California to visit Berkeley and some other colleges that I'm loooking forward to. I also wanna road trip to California with my girls too =], but gas price is killllllling me! aksjdflsjfd plans plans plans! I love Summer...
               Work is great, I'm shift supervisor.. I haven't gotten my raise but I'll talk to Veronica about it later. I love my work! Meeting new people, talking, studying, just hanging out. It's the best place to just relax and chill. The people there are awesome, and I love my co-workers. Josh and I are getting really close, he's awesome! We actually just went thrifting, and then went to miracle miles, thai food, and then to work where he dominated in chess =[. Charles is leaving to New York tonight... meh. He also graduated on the 10th (which is also our two years and a half). adfjalsdfjsdkfj he's going to UCSD. I'm happy for him.. but also sad to see him leave. I'm excited to go dorm shopping with him though... hm.
